Please note that ONLY Summer Work and Travel participants are able to have second jobs while on their program. Interns, Trainees, Teachers and Camp Counselors CANNOT have a second job per program regulations.
Your second job must not interfere with your first job. You have a commitment to your primary host company, which you are expected to honor.
You are not legally permitted to work at a new Host Company until your Visa Sponsor reviews your new job to confirm it complies with U.S. Department of State program regulations. DO NOT start work until you receive authorization from your Visa Sponsor.
In order to be approved, you must fill out this form: Second Jobs Form: AAG
This form will ask you for the following information:
- Second Job Company Name and Address
- Managers Name, Email, phone number
- Job title and duties
- Expected hours per week
- Hourly Wage
Your Visa Sponsor will contact your second job employer on your behalf. The employer must provide the Visa Sponsor with the following documents before your second job can be sanctioned:
· Workers Compensation documentation
· Business license
· Document containing Employer ID Number (EIN)
Please reach out to us if you have any questions on the above information.
