Replacing Lost Passport Process

Have you lost your passport. Please follow these steps:

1) File a police report.  You will need to submit the police report when replacing passport. All program categories require an incident report to be completed for lost or stolen passports.

2) Contact your home country's nearest Consulate or Embassy in the USA and ask for instructions on replacing your passport. 

3) Submit a support ticket to your sponsor and keep us informed. When you receive your new passport, you need to send a copy. We will need to update your DS2019 and SEVIS Information.  

It is important to complete this process as soon as possible, since you will not be able to apply for a Social Security card until you replaced your passport and updated your DS-2019.
